Jami Angelini Haggerty

Jami Angelini Haggerty is an experienced Fort Lauderdale injury attorney and prior small business owner with a unique ability to apply her real-world business acumen to assist her clients with their legal needs.

As a civil litigation attorney, she began her career focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, and first-party insurance disputes using her legal skills and compassion for her clients to obtain fair and just compensation for their injuries. Later, Ms. Haggerty went on to manage the operations of a national mass tort law firm. In that role, her areas of practice concentrated on pharmaceutical and medical device mass tort claims, including Yaz/Yazmin birth control, transvaginal mesh implants, Actos bladder cancer and DePuy hip implants.

In addition to her legal practice, she successfully owned and operated a major nationally branded franchise for several years. Armed with this first-hand perspective as a franchisee and business owner, she adapted her legal practice to assist other business owners with all aspects of business and franchise law, including business valuations, franchise agreements, due diligence, employment agreements, contracts and lease negotiations.

Ms. Haggerty was born and raised and Broward County, received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center, and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida. Ms. Haggerty is involved in the South Florida community as a member of several volunteer organizations and charitable causes. In short, Ms. Haggerty has a well-known reputation for helping those who need it.
